Trees for large open garden

Hi, we are looking to make our garden more private with trees but we are new to gardening and arent sure how high, how many and type of tree to plant for a modern look along the left hand wall.

we are thinking trees along the left wall and bushes along the back fence, any ideas would be much apreciated.

This is a really popular question, especially with a blank canvas.
