I recently completed Garden Ninjas’ Weekend Online Garden Design Course after following Lee on Garden Rescue and seeing the jaw-dropping work he does in gardening.
It was a fantastic experience. I’ve always loved gardening, but I’ve never had formal training, so I was eager to learn more about designing a garden that’s not only beautiful but also functional. After watching Lee’s makeovers online and on TV, I couldn’t wait to start.
I was impressed by how well-structured and easy-to-follow the content was. The course was divided into sections, making it simple to follow along even with my busy schedule. I particularly appreciated how the lessons were broken down into bite-sized pieces—nothing was overwhelming, and I never felt rushed. The best bit is you can return to the course as many times as you like. It would be great if you had a sieve for a brain like me.
The course is not just about theory; it provides clear, actionable steps for designing a garden from start to finish. The modules covered everything from understanding garden space and design principles to choosing the right plants for your climate and soil type. It felt like I was getting the in-depth, personalised advice I would typically only get from a professional garden designer.
Would recommend to any noob gardener wanting to get into design!
