Generation Soil

Hi everyone, I'm Alex and I got into gardening over lockdown. Fast forward to now and I'm doing a PhD looking to improve the human-soil connection, as currently soil has many negative connotations - 'dirt' for example. I was wondering what peoples opinions about soil are on here? I know a lot of gardeners don't prioritise soil health and struggle. Having started of as one of these people I fully understand it. Garden centres are lined with plastic bags of often sterile compost, meaning you're required to buy fertilisers also - whether chemical or natural... How about we focus on soil health first? Please check out what we do here - I'd love to hear what you think!
