Weeds in concrete

Hi
Can anyone advise on how to permanently get rid of weeds growing through the gaps in concrete area of my garden?
I have tried weed killer and pulling them out but they grow back with a vengeance!
Thanks!

Hi scg,

Have a look at Lee's You Tube Video on weed control, you can get to the videos via the menu.

As they are coming up through brick sets the top of the roots are at least 4 to 5 inches down, therefore if your using a weed killer make sure you soak the weed, don't just spray, the chemical has to soak down between the sets, then soak into the soil below, you may wish to try a salt n vinegar mixture, again a good soaking is required, make sure you carry this out on a dry day, if it rains the weed killer will be diluted.
